You will use the smaller sticky notes to track details in the novel that relate to the main character's transformation and the novel's theme (see this chart).  As you read, place the sticky notes in your novel on pages that answer each question in the chart.

From your packages of small sticky notes, choose one sticky note colour to represent each topic, and note your choice on this chart.  You must apply the same coloured small sticky note for each topic as you have indicated in your chart.

NOTE:  Your process of applying sticky notes as you read will not be formally assessed.  However, you will use these small sticky notes to complete the 2.7 Novel Tracking Sheet assignment on the next page and the large sticky notes on your 2.9 Comparison Essay Plan and 2.10 Comparison Essay.  You are also encouraged to use your novel when you write your Units 1 and 2 Quiz in this course, so the sticky notes will come in very handy.
