Unit 5

What Can We Learn from Realistic Fiction?

Activity

The Main Character

Choose one of the main fictional characters that you read about in the novel you chose.

Show what he or she is like by designing a scrapbook or selecting a playlist of songs that represent what is important to that character.

As you are designing the scrapbook or selecting the playlist, ask yourself these questions:

  • What main impression would the character want to give others?
  • What personality does the main character have?
  • How does the main character look?
  • What does the main character say?
  • How does the main character act?
  • Where does the main character go?
  • What beliefs or values does the main character hold?

Design a scrapbook in Word or a digital format you choose.
