Images with Impact
When You Are Viewing Different Kinds of Posters or Pictures It Is Important to Know the Purpose of the Image.
To understand the purpose, look critically at the poster or image to determine what is important in the image.
Ask yourself these questions to determine what is important:
- What parts are most important, the image or the words?
- What does the author want me to notice first? How do I know that?
Artists or designers who create posters know that layout, or how they arrange words and space in a picture, is very important to viewers' understanding of their message.
