Open Your File

Go to your Documents folder and open your Reader's Notebook: Reading News Articles that you have saved there.

Write your answers to the questions in the section Young Fossil Hunter Attends A Dino-mite Camp.


Save

How to save a file:


  1. Have the file open and select Save As from the File menu.
  2. Name your Reader's Notebook: Reading News Articles file in this format: jsmith_readingnewarticles and save the file to your Documents folder.

Read the title and the first paragraph.


Now, on your saved worksheet, sketch a stick figure/picture of yourself at a dino-mite camp. Include a thought bubble.

Read the remainder of page 14. When you finish, draw a sketch of Jade at the camp and include speech or thought bubbles. How is this sketch similar to or different from the one you drew of yourself? Save this page to your Documents folder.
