  • DUE DATES

Social studies 30-1 is a massive course and requires consistent, diligent work to complete in a timely manner. Please follow the recommended course pace I have outlined for you in Powerschool. You cannot afford to leave this course's work until the last minute. Keep on pace!

    Units 1 and 2- October 2

    Units 3 and 4- November 12

    Units 5 and 6- December 4

    Units 7 and 8 - December 18, 2020

January 4 to 11 - Diploma Exam Review

*Individual assignment deadlines are found in Powerschool. *

    • NOTE: If an assignment is not handed in after the due date has passed, you will receive a zero in Powerschool until you hand that assignment in.
    • DOUBLE NOTE: Assignments are to be done on your own, not with the help of a friend or tutor. If you are having trouble, email me and I will offer the help! If your marks on assignments are dramatically higher than marks on tests, we will be having a conversation about the discrepancy.
    • TRIPLE NOTE: You should be citing your research in MLA or APA format. Talk to me if you don't know how to do this.
    • SUPER NOTE: Submit assignment files as Powerpoint (ppt), PDF or DOC. Do not submit ODF, PAGES, KEYNOTE, or others... I will make you resubmit/reupload if you do. This is due to what filetypes Moodle can actually interpret.

    ASSIGNMENT FEEDBACK & MY AVAILABILITY
Submitted assignments will be marked within 7 full days. Expect the turn-around to be 5-7 days.
General written feedback will be given on Moodle for all assignments. It is up to you to request specific feedback for your assignments.

I am here to help you with your course! If you are struggling on one of the projects or are having trouble with a concept, please feel free to contact me.
