Completion requirements
Building Writing Skills
Please create an ELA 10-2 folder on your computer or within your Google Drive to keep your work organized. Within this main ELA folder, please also create a folder for assignment work and a folder for short notes. This is where you will save copies of all of your course work so that it is organized and easily accessible for you. Title all uploaded files with your name and the assignment number for easy recognition/access.You must read all pages in this
course! The course is similar to a story...it builds from page to page,
and each page has important information leading up to your next
assignment. If you attempt to just skip to the assignment pages, you
will not be very successful. If you did not complete the learning check
on the last page, please go back and do so now.
It is time to do some basic writing review! You may have learned this before, but some review will help you continue to move forward with your writing. If you truly want to continue to improve your writing, this course page is really important
for you, as your writing skills and presentation are evaluated in all English classes, as well as in most other subject areas. If you struggle with using a variety of correctly structured sentences, there is no doubt that you may not reach your
full potential and score the grades you could be scoring. Remember, that no matter how well structured and beautiful a sentence may be, it still needs to begin with a capital, and must end with end punctuation in order to be correct! After reading the review
notes, please view the entire brief video, as it "brings things together" nicely! This assignment is formative practice work, and while a grade will be assigned for your own consideration, this mark will not count towards your actual course grade.
This work is required and is not optional.
