4.4 Digital Visual Representation

Both written and visual text often have the purpose of entertaining, while still presenting strong messages. Often written text and visual text is combined, using the powers of both types of communication, to create an even stronger impression upon the audience.

For this assignment, you will plan a digital visual presentation that visually represents both the plot line events and the theme you identified for the play, "Heat Lightning." You will include relevant and meaningful speech bubbles or captions to further enhance your communication. You must not simply retell the plot of the story, but rather, you will choose significant and relevant plot events to best present the plot line of the story effectively.

Your presentation must be done using some form of digital representation such as PowerPoint, Google Slides, or a video program of your choice.  There are no certain required number of slides.The student exemplar is really long, to show how a digital representation might be created, but you are not expected to create a representation of this length. Create only enough slides to capture the key plot events. Be sure that you are using visual techniques  effectively to convey important information and to create a certain perspective for the audience.
