When we experience a text, such as a novel, we learn. When we are able to take the context of a text and apply it to a new context, this shows an even deeper level of understanding. For this assignment you will demonstrate your understanding of your novel by using the applicable information to create a newspaper that reflects the elements of your chosen novel. Assignment instructions, and a very specific exemplar have been provided for you. You will need to refer to both as you complete each part of this assignment. The exemplar will not only serve as an example, but will also serve as your newspaper template.

Please contact your teacher if you have questions, as this is a big assignment and is weighted heavily in your grade book, so you want to do your best on it!

Step 2: Download and read the general Newspaper Instructions for this assignment.
Step 3: Download two copies of the Exemplar/Assignment in either Word or Google Doc format. One copy will be to read the example work, and one copy will become your working copy where you will replace the exemplar text information and images with your own work. Simply delete the exemplar text and add your own work in the spaces.
Step 4: Save your final polished newspaper assignment as FirstnameLastname6.1Novel. If you did your work as a Google Doc, download it and save it as a PDF document.
