Completion requirements
You have completed quite a number of activities, self-checks, and assignments relating to paragraph development.
You may use a computer or paper to complete the final draft of your paragraph.
1. You can type your work directly into the assignment box on the next
page by clicking the "add submission" button under the orange box at the
bottom of this page.
2. If you typed your work in a separate Word document, save your document, and either send it to your teacher as an e-mail attachment or print it off and hand it in to your teacher so it can be marked.
3. You can also choose to complete a hand-written assignment on a piece of paper. If so, please hand in your assignment to your teacher so it can be marked.

Retrieve the assignment you completed in Lesson 9 — Activity 2. You may use this plan to write your paragraph.
You will use the Steps for Planning a Paragraph Sheet for this work. You may print this out for reference.

- Remember that you will need a topic sentence, three to four supporting details, and a concluding sentence in your paragraph.

Hockey has been my passion since I was five years old. I
was first introduced to the sport curled up beside my father, watching
Hockey Night in Canada. Later that winter, we went to the local arena to
watch our town's team play in the championship game. I started playing hockey myself the next year and have been playing
ever since. I am now in bantam and this year our team has played great. I read that in 2011, there were over 600,000 kids playing hockey in Canada! Hockey is a fantastic sport and I’m so glad I started playing.
