Assignment
Perspectives on National Identity
As you are hopefully now aware, Canada's national identity continues to evolve and involves many groups of people. In this assignment, you will choose one group. You will speak to their growth, development, and integration into the national fabric of Canada's national identity.
This assignment has several components:
- research the history, events, perspectives, and policies that impacted your chosen group's identity within Canada
- create a visual/media presentation explaining and demonstrating your chosen group's identity and how they are part of Canada's national identity and
- explain (through a written or verbal recording) the key events and initiatives that continue to impact your chosen group today.
