Imagine the editor's name is Mr. Keith Perez and the name of the newspaper you are writing is Daily News. Write this title in the 'company' space. - Your task is to write a letter to the editor of a newspaper (pretending you are one of the young people in the story) sharing your concerns about the Lanny Chow ad.
- You can use the R A F T outline provided to help guide you in your writing.

When writing a letter to the editor of a local paper it is important to use a polite and respectful tone.
For example, what might happen if you call a person or business a liar? Will the person listen to you or do what you ask them to do?

Save
How to save a file for submission:
- Open the email you have sent yourself.
- Select your Documents folder as the location to Save In.
- Name the document. You will always name your documents in a similar way.
- Use the first letter of your first name, followed by your last name, then an underscore (_), then the name of the file.
- In this case, the file name is 2-3-letter-editor. For example, if my name is John Smith, I would name my file jsmithla5_2-3-letter-editor.
- Click Save. Your chart is in your Documents folder.
Submit your file to Moodle:
- Did you save the final draft of your work?
- Did you answer every question?
- Are you submitting all parts and pages of the assignment?
- Submit your completed 2-3-Letter to the Editor.
- Click on the Add Submission button to upload your document.
