Follow each of these steps, in order, to complete your assignment.

Step 2: Study Darcy’s 3.4 Cracked Vision Board to see an example of this assignment. Also study her rubric to see how she was assessed.
NOTE: Darcy analyzed the character Wes Holman from the short story “Long, Long After School” for her assignment. You must analyze a character from Selfie.
Step 3: Choose a character from the play whose vision of the future changes significantly from the beginning to the end of the story.

Step 4: Note some ideas on a piece of paper, using the bullet points below to guide you.
Here are some examples of artifacts. You might think of others.
- Draw a line down the centre of the paper and label one side Old Vision and the other side New Vision.
- Write down phrases that describe the character’s old and new visions for his or her future
- Jot down specific actions that the character took to achieve the old and new visions.
- Note ideas for artifacts you could include on both sides of the vision board. You need a mixture of artifacts, and at least three for each side of the board.

Step 5: Choose how you would like to complete this assignment. You have many options.
Step 6: Write a short paragraph to accompany your project to explain your ideas and ensure your teacher understands what you want to convey. Here is Darcy’s explanation paragraph.

- Microsoft Word (or any word processing program)—Create a traditional document containing all of your links, images, and other artifacts.
