In any game, in order to be successful in participating, there are essential basic skills.  In this assignment you will chose a skill from a sport of your choosing and submit a video of you teaching and demonstrating the skill.

 Steps

  1. Chose a sport from the games dimension. You must get permission from your teacher if you are using a skill from an activity outside the games dimension.
  2. Fill in the Planning Chart. This will need to include: age/ability level of athletes, teaching points, equipment list, safety aspects
  3. Arrange with a peer/parent to video your lesson.
  4. Submit your video and Planning chart for marking.

Watch the videos of two teaching video examples. The curling video teaches multiple skills within the same video.  You are only required to teach a single isolated skill in your video project.
