Key Ideas

  • The main angles that can be used for referents are: 22.5°, 30°, 45°, 60°, 90°, 180° and 360°.
  • Acute angles measure between 0° and 90°.
  • Obtuse angles measure between 90° and 180°.
  • A right angle measures 90° exactly and a straight angle measures 180° exactly.
  • Angles can be bisected and replicated using either a protractor and a ruler or a compass and a ruler.
