The Mona Lisa Caper
The Mona Lisa is the most famous painting in our time.
Leonardo Da Vinci took over four years to paint this painting in 1503-1506. It was uncommon to paint realistic landscapes before this time. Also, it was uncommon to blend paint so well, that you cannot see outlines (sfumato technique). This is a realistic small portrait of a woman with a mysterious smile.
