There are two assignments for this lesson:
- add information about Blue Whales to your Saving Habitat Chart
- get the next list of Word Wall Words
Saving Habitat Chart
Make an entry in your Saving Habitat Chart.
Open Your File
Go to your Documents folder and open your Saving Habitat Chart that you have saved there.
- Make an entry for the Blue Whales story, remember to fill in all three columns.
- Don’t forget to save your work.
Save
How to save a file:
- Have the file open and select Save As from the File menu.
- Name your Saving Habitat Chart file in this format: jsmith_savinghabitatbluewhales and save the file to your Documents folder.
Go to the Word Wall Words chart to get your new Word Wall Words.
Today, you will start learning Word Wall List 11. Need a reminder of what Word Wall Words are? Go back to read about them on the Assignments page.

Click the Vocabulary icon button to open the Grade 4 Word Wall in a new tab. Look for Unit 3 Word Wall List 11 for your next six words. When you are done close the tab to return to this instruction page.
