The Math Editing Tool can be access by clicking the "Show more buttons" icon
. Then click the "WIRIS editor" button
to bring up the math tool menu. Look through the tabs to find the math template you need.

Attention MAC and PC users. Do not use the Word doc file if you do not have Microsoft Word installed on your computer. The MathType and the formatting may not display correctly when using other word processing programs.
To promote efficiency in the marking process, please submit your assignments in the following manner:
- as a single PDF or Word Doc file (each page should NOT be a separate file)
- as small a file as possible; select a lower DPI when scanning
- name your file as: first name_last name_course name_assignment x-x (example: John_Doe_Math 20-1_Assign 1-1.pdf)
Please
note assignments submitted as individually scanned pages, or using
other file types will not accepted. Students will be asked to correct
their submissions.

- Download and install the trial version. When the trial ends, you are left with the lite version which has enough functionality for this course.

program can piggyback on Word and is fairly intuitive. If you plan to
use this program regularly, it is worth learning some shortcuts (e.g.
For Windows users, ctrl+f gives the fraction template and ctrl+r gives
the square root template).
