Hydration is crucial not only for athletic performance but also for good health and a properly functioning body.  Because our bodies cannot store water, we must regularly supply them with water to maintain our functioning systems. 

Athletes are faced with many choices of what to put into their bodies, including various supplements.  Sometimes assessing what is necessary, safe, and effective is challenging.
