Exam 2: Written Response
It is now time to write the final exam for this course: Exam 2: Written Response. This exam is designed to follow the same format as your diploma exam, and it will be written in the same amount of time you will have on the diploma exam. Exam 2 is designed to be written in three hours. You can have up to double that amount of time but only if your exam supervisor can accommodate that extra time. If you anticipate needing extra time, please contact your exam supervisor well in advance of the exam to determine if this is possible.
This exam will test your understanding of the content in the diploma exam preparation tutorials that you have studied throughout this course.
Exam 2 is weighted at 15% of your overall mark in the course (and 50% of your total exam mark), so it is important that you take time to study and prepare.
Exam 2 is composed of three assignments:
NOTE: If you are allowed to have a scribe, a reader, or any other accommodations on exams, let your teacher know right away. There must be a documented record that you have used accommodations in this course in order to be allowed to have accommodations on your provincial diploma exam.
CAUTION: Students who earn a mark of 40% or below on the final exam will be required to write the appeal exam.
Use the diploma exam tutorials located in Units 1, 2, and 3 to help you prepare for this exam. Take notes so you can review them later.
2. Review the diploma tutorial quiz questions and the FEEDBACK on those questions. Jot down notes.
