Now it’s your turn to practise applying the “What? So What? Now What?” strategy to an artistic image. The following painting, entitled “Seven Grandfather Teachings,” is by one of Canada’s premiere First Nation’s artists, Aaron Paquette. Click on the image to enlarge it.
Then follow each of these steps, in order, to complete your assignment.

Step 2: Read Sabah’s
student example of the “What? So What? Now What?” strategy being
applied to a different image to get a sense of how your assignment
should look. Be sure to read her teacher's comments on the rubric to see
how Sabah was assessed.
Step 3: Download a copy of the "What? So What? Now What? charts in either Word, Google doc or PDF format. DO NOT BEGIN COMPLETING THE CHART until you have watched the video AND studied the tutorial in the next step below.
