Step 1: Before you begin, examine the rubric to see how you will be assessed on this
assignment.

Step 3: Plan your film review using this optional planning guide (in Word,
Google doc, or PDF). You can skim Lola’s 4.6 Film Review Planning page, Film Review, and rubric for
extra guidance.
Step 4: Write your 4.6 Film Review. Regardless of whether you submit the written version of your review, you need to write your ideas down. Remember, you have already researched and made observation
notes on the film. You can also go back to the
Independent Film Study Quiz and re-read the feedback for ideas to include in your review. Use the information you have already collected to add detail to your film review to save yourself time.
Step 5: Re-read and reflect on your review.
